This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I notice that several of you C4S owners have painted the "S" on the rear of the car red. I really like that look, and am thinking of doing it. What would you say is the cleanest way to do it? Mask and spray? Fine brush? Other? Thanks for any advice!

POST 2Original post

Cleanest would be to buy them professionally painted and replace the emblem. https://bumperplugs.com/custom-painted-emblems

POST 3Original post

I bought a new one and painted it off the car. I went to Autozone and picked a red that I liked in duplicolor. I painted the red, then covered in several coats of clear. Once dried, I wet sanded the clear and polished to a shine.

POST 4Original post

I bought a new "S" painted it with single stage red automotive paint, very glossy. I then used fishing line to slide underneath and cut the adhesive tape. Applied new tape to red "S" and stuck in place. Now looks great with my Seal Grey paint, I think it's a nice addition.

POST 5Original post

You could also buy some red vinyl and wrap it yourself. Use some double sided tape to reattach. A sample size piece of vinyl would do it: https://www.ebay.com/itm/3M-Vinyl-10...Cclp%3A2334524
