Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

I see no mention of either RMS (rear main seal) or IMS (intermediate shaft) end flange upgrade or bearing upgrade. Driveshaft seal could refer to the seal at the output shaft of the tranny. Front crankshaft seal I think refers to the seal at the front of the crankshaft (the front being in this case where the accessory belt drive pulley attaches). Not many owners realize this but there is a front main seal (FMS) that Porsche parts department managers tell me can also leak, but the RMS gets all the (bad) press.

Those are nebulous at best - I wouldn't make any assumptions about what was/wasn't done with that terminology...the fact that the transmission was removed does make it plausible, but I wouldn't be convinced if it was MY car...

Carfax might be the greatest triumph of marketing over substance the modern world has ever seen.
