I had a local shop replace the IMS a few months back and since then the oil pressure gauge occasionally drops to zero for a brief period (1 - 5 seconds) along with warning light.

I had a local shop replace the IMS a few months back and since then the oil pressure gauge occasionally drops to zero for a brief period (1 - 5 seconds) along with warning light. It pops right back up to normal. No change in engine tone or leaking oil. Seems like a loose wire issue. I am thinking it is the sending unit.
