Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I've seen comparison tests on Youtubes, but all the camera people say they aren't accurate by using your phone or camera because they adjust.
Leading evidence: 'Use phone or camera' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Use phone or camera' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Just bought new taillights rear 3rd light and had the front lights tinted/clear coat 'expel' (I think that's what he called it). He put a real light tint over the rear smoked taillights to protect cheap plastic.
I like the way it turned out. The film on tail and front lights is supposed to be a 'self-healing' for minor scratches from rocks or whatever.
Not all may like, but oh well. It's still visible. The LEDs are amazing. After all that, I forgot that there is another 3rd brake light on the spoiler, oops. Another day.
The car just got all the door dings/little dents pulled and a commercial buff and ceramic coat. The car looks so much nicer to me.
Dont listen to the negative Nancys. Its your car and the only opinion that counts is yours. I personally like the look both ways. The LEDs are an awesome upgrade and therefore they should look different. Especially with your wonderful paint the smoked look is attractive. Ride on!!
Sorry guys, no will part. I always keep everything so I can go back to original whenever the need arises. The headlights were even a spare pair I had so I still have the originals untouched.

I think the rear Led's look great. I'm not a big fan of the smoked fronts, but I'm not a fan of the yellow's either - I prefer clear... go figure! In any case, it's your car do as you please
Thanks! I am not against the amber lights and like them. I just wanted to see an 'updated look', not original. Like you said, I am a fan of the all clear ones too, but I don't have them.
Oh well, fun to try out and if I don't like, just peel them off and all is good
Have a great weekend everyone.
Nick
I think it looks great.
I don't think there is any other European Sports Car that can give owners a completely designed beauty or a blank canvas ready for personal touches all wrapped in one car.
The 996
Stock or personalized, they stand out in a crowded field of cars.
Good for you

Nighttime: If anything, the back lights are more visible at night than OEM. Me and a buddy went for drive this evening and wanted to see afterwards: full nighttime - running lights are not bad and brakes are brighter than the stock IMO. The 3rd brake light is way brighter than stock light for sure. As for the front, the yellow/amber lights right up and is quite visible from distance. I was a little worried the fronts may be too much, but the bulbs seem to shine right through the tint. I've seen a lot of aftermarket truck/car tail lights that are barely visible at night and this ain't the same.
I've seen comparison tests on Youtubes, but all the camera people say they aren't accurate by using your phone or camera because they adjust. The only real test is with the light meter (can't think of fancy name at moment). I do not have the desire to check, it's bright, people will see it and I'm a happy guy.
