Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I checked all of the fuses just to make sure I didnt blow anything during the install and found nothing blown.

And lastly did you also replace all of your speakers as well?

Did you have to run all new speaker wire from the radio to the amp or were you able to use the stock wiring to get it done?
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Im currently installing an Alpine double DIN car play radio into my 01 C2 Cabrio. My car had the HiFi system with Nav and all speakers with amp. It does not have the BOSE sub and second amp.
I have everything wired up and ready to reinstall but my test of the radio is producing no sound. Radio powers up properly and I have access to all menus. I tested voltage on the blue / white remote amp wire and Im not getting anything there. Shouldnt that should 12 volts when the key is turned on?
I checked all of the fuses just to make sure I didnt blow anything during the install and found nothing blown. Everything worked perfectly before the install. Aside from reinstalling the factory radio to make sure its still working Im not sure what else to check.
Does anyone have any experience with this or suggestions on what to test?
Yes. Per the crutchfield support tech the correct color amp wire is properly landed in the position of the new harness and mated to the blue / white wire.
Is there a way to test the amp to make sure its getting power?
My Bose equipped 03 Cab only had one amp. It required a fibre optic connection and I couldn't find a way to test it, aside from sending it to a specialist. My stock head unit fired up and menus were all available, but no sound. Still don't know which isn't working, head unit or amp, so both now live in a box on the shelf.
I ended up removing it and installing a small aftermarket amp to run the sub, and power the other speakers off an aftermarket head unit.
Did you have to run all new speaker wire from the radio to the amp or were you able to use the stock wiring to get it done? Im assuming you also put the new amp in the stock location? And lastly did you also replace all of your speakers as well?
Nope. I used all the stock speaker wiring and speakers. I placed the new amp exactly where the old one was. Only oddity was, and it's been a long while now so might have it wrong, but because the Bose sub is 1 ohm the connections where made slightly differently...in series maybe?
