Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Didn't need to change my pads as they are relatively new.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I just changed my rear rotors. I bought sebro from
http://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/199...ake_rotor.html
at $111 eac. Didn't need to change my pads as they are relatively new. Quite an easy DIY job in less than 2 hours really taking my time. Took the hand brake up during the installation. Now it will take a couple of weeks for the old pads to bed into the new discs. Parts Geek is a great site.
Nice tip on partsgeek, Hurdi.
While I definitely do not change rotors every time I change pads, I do install new pads with each rotor replacement. Did you not replace yours because you didn't want to bother with the wear sensors? I'm just curious why you'd do just half a brake job, and what the impetus was to replace the rotors if the pads weren't yet worn out.
I changed the rear brake pads when I put on some used rear rotors last year. I got the discs from a guy on eBay with 100% sales record who stated in his description them being as GOOD DISCS with free shipping. When I took the car back to pass its inspection they were only just within limits so I wrote to the guy and he halved the price at $35 for the two. I then bought the new discs from Parts geek at a sales price of $112 each with free shipping. They should be $215 EACH so I jumped at them at $224 for the two. I used the ones with the holes and not the slots. Both rears are identical but the fronts are left and right. BTW I do have all wear sensors in place. If I had had new pads in the garage I would have changed them as I had the caliper off the rotor when I did the job. When the front rotors are near completion I will go back and buy them from Partsgeek.com In defense of Pelican parts they too have the same discs at roughly the same price. I don't think Pelicanparts did when I bought from Partsgeek. Maybe Pelican dropped their price to compete with the Geek when they saw their prices since last year.
