Im getting a set, they are good enough for my 996 VW bug.

Years ago I did use a kit from leatherseat.com on a Z car that came out looking OEM quality fit and finish.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Decent enough looking product, was bummed that they didn't work.
Looking forward to how you like these - a good friend of mine has a 968 and is ready to re-do the seat covers too. Will be very interesting in what you think about tops online. Also looking at the Lseat.com covers but those seem almost too cheap to be any good. The local upholstery shop here will work with aftermarket seat covers.

I am in desperate need of new bottoms, the drivers seat is basically disintegrating and when I had the interior detailed by a shop 2 years ago they obviously spilled something on the passenger side bottom that made if hard as a rock but they denied having any responsibility. The Topsonline seats look pretty nice and I am curious as to the quality. Also wondering if they will sell just the bottom of a seat, I replaced the driver's side seat back cover a couple of years ago with and OEM cover that I found on eBay years ago for less than $100 and boght back then, maybe 15+ years ago. The price for the entire seat cover at $1,159 seems pretty good if the quality is right.
The LSeat covers are really inexpensive at $299, but I saw a review that said they were pretty low quality and the color was off.
My Indy recommends GAHH which has a really good reputation.

They sell the bottom for $543 an the back for $604, which comes out to only $1,147, so about the same as the Topsonline covers. And they have a set for both sides for $1,923. I think they might sell to my INDY for a discount.
Plesae keep us posted on your project as I know I have to do something this summer.
I, too, checked out LSeat and their reviews from a quality and customer service perspective had me going in another direction. Will keep all update on installation progress.
^^That's too bad... Though i have no need at the moment, it's always nice to have low cost alternatives - IF the quality is good. At the price they're advertising it's not particularly surprising that there seems to be issues...
Update: Topsonline seat covers installed today. Upholsterer was impressed with quality and craftsmanship. He advised to condition the leather and let sit in the sun so that the leather conforms to the seat better. Happy with the outcome!

Bill, You can order a sample kit from lseat.com for a few $$ and they will send you a sheet with all their samples. Honestly, I was not impressed with the samples they sent - probably why their costs are so low.
Years ago I did use a kit from leatherseat.com on a Z car that came out looking OEM quality fit and finish. It seems that they are currently not listing Porsche products on their website, unfortunately. However, I know they used to list Porsche kits. I have reached out to them for an update and will report back.
Wow I must have lost track of this thread back in 2019. I certainly would NOT have been happy if those were my seats. I can't believe an upholsterer would even let those out of his shop - especially after commenting on the quality of the covers themselves ("oh so you're telling me it was your workmanship that led to the unsatisfactory results?")... And then to tell the customer to condition them and leave them is the sun in hopes that they'll get better? O-M-G ! I hope the wrinkles smoothed out, but generally speaking things do not fix themselves. The shop should have steamed them or done whatever they had to do to make sure they didn't look like that last photo... That is just disgraceful craftsmanship by the installer - it looks like a school kid did them...
I'm sure the upholsterer did everything they could to make them look as good as they can and yet this is the end result. It's a crappy products that no amount of steaming, sunlight or lotion can fix.
Not from this manufacturer but if you are too lazy to look then you can always get sections of the seat cover from the dealer. If that's not to your liking, contact a good re upholsterer and go from there. Many times the damaged sections can be repaired or swapped out by a good upholstery shop.
^^ But the installer commented about what a high quality product it was...
To turn around and tell the customer to slather it up with oil and leave it in the sun is ridiculous...
I tried Lseat and they didn't fit at all...I gave up after a professional upholsterer tried installing the bottom cushion cover and it was at least an inch too small and had serious fitment issues with the plastic grooved spline which is supposed to fit on the bottom seat shell edge. Not even close to being able to fit, he suggested cutting it off and gluing it on as the only possible way this seat cover would fit...mostly jokingly. Decent enough looking product, was bummed that they didn't work. Putting the originals back on so I have something to sit on. I've got sport seats and the whole reason I'm replacing is to fix seam splits on the outer seat back "wings". I'm going to bring those to the upholsterer and see what he can do to put something together on his own.
That all being said, Lseat customer service was ok so far and are offering a return. I have yet to send them back so we will see how that pans out. I took a ton of photos of the attempted install which I'm sure helped matters significantly.
Some photos...bottom of seat cover, which is supposed to wrap around the bottom edge of the lower cushion and plastic shell. You can see that it's about 1" too small to be able to fit:
Wimpy plastic clips which are supposed to fit in those slots on the rear of the bottom cushion:
