Using a structural Aluminum frame with 1/2' Acrylic Plexiglas 24"x24" as the top, with a 19" wheel, I made it 22" tall because I may want to use it as a night stand by my bed also, I haven't decided...lol.....At 22" tall it is 2 inches lower than the armrest of the Sectional Sofa in the Man Cave, and level with the top mattress on my bed, so would work well either place, I like options...

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The 996 Forum is getting a little low on content so I thought I would post this. I have had this 997 Turbo wheel in my Man Cave for years even before my heart surgery just for some added "bling" . This style is my favorite OEM design since they were released and I have a set of OEM narrow body wheels this style on my 99 C2 Coupe. I have been wanting to do an end table for the Man Cave using this wheel as a basis and finally "got a round to it".

Thanks, everyone's taste in wheels is different, that's why there are so many different design/looks. The 997 Turbo design just " checks all the boxes" for me..

Indeed... But - yours is right and that's what really counts

POST 10Original post

I really like it. I've thought about something similar but I don't have a single wheel that would be worthy and I don't want to break up a set.

This wheel was damaged and headed to the Aluminum scrap pile. The customer bought a new wheel and didn't want a repaired wheel . I didn't need it , and it wouldn't fit my car anyway (widebody specs) but I couldn't let it go to the scrap yard, so I had the wheel guy repair it and brought it home to stay..
