Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

All,
I am doing something similar to the photo below and need to try to find the closet match to the red that Porsche uses for the accent wall. Anyone have any ideas on what the paint code would be? FYI the paint in the picture below does not save very well and looks better here:

Thanks!!!
Here's an idea if you need it.
Buy Porsche touchup paint in the right color code. ($20-$30)
Paint a small 2"x2" or larger sample with that. (Ideally on scrap, primed drywall, multiple coats.)
Take that to the paint store to be color matched.
But a quart to take home and test.
I haven't tried automotive paint that way, so I'm guessing a bit, but I have other paints. The new paint goes on looking different, but once dry, they've always matched really well.
I expect you'll have to go with an expensive high solids content paint to get the vivid color.
I'm doing an automotive themed Man Cave/Audio room and found this when I was doing my research.
I am just doing metal letters and didn't want to spend a ton having special paint blended so I bought several different shades of red in rattle cans to test.
The closest red color I found was Rust-Oleum "Regal Red"
These are the letters. I still haven't decided if I'm going with red or a brushed aluminum look.
For the audio part of the man cave, I bought some acoustic foam trying to go for a Le Mans Gulf livery look. The blue is off but oh well...
This is a lot of really great info yall. Thanks so much for the ideas. Im gonna wonder down toe HD on Friday and see what I can get blended up for test. I really like that paint pen idea as well. I got everything primered last weekend and need to get the final colors up in the next two weeks. Ill keep yall posted on the progress.
Can I ask where you got the lettering and the crest? The length, width, and height are exactly what I am looking for!
(On a side note, you have the S and C backwords
)
After some more research I found the following info.
Im pretty sure this is the color of the Porsche Red

Here are all the conversions to Paint codes for manufactures:

This should give me a good color scheme to start from when looking at swatches. Thanks for the help!
Yes, Queen city Fab is where I got mine and yes, the quality is pretty impressive for the price.
I bought the letters here:

I want to say I found them cheaper somewhere else after the fact but I'm not positive.
You spelled backwards wrong.
