Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

need to decide between these 2 sets for my nb 996 in black...

second: sport design 18"

The second set is a NB OEM so there are no fitment issues. The first set seems to fit but the front MAY require 5mm spacers and the rear tires MAY rub under hard cornering... they are also around $400 more
Which ones would you get?
I'm biased - I have sport design 18" and they're beautiful. They are a pain to keep spotless, but well worth the trouble. I also get lots of comments regarding the sport designs (not a key factor, but a nice added extra).
What Edgy's referring to is that the 996 suspension wasn't designed to accommodate 19" wheels, and this may cause suspension damage over time. I read a few of his past posts which alluded to this - apparently Porsche wanted to retain the 996 components in the 997 suspension but decided it couldn't be done after extensive testing.
here are thread depth pictures on the 18" - can you help me figure out how much is left? looks like 4 or 5mm to me which means that tires are almost shot...
