I'm asking because I'd like to replace some old worn out parts and want to make sure I get the OEM parts including shocks, strut mounts and rubber bump stops (which shows differences if one has the M030).

Guys, I have a 1999 C4 and the options on the original sticker indicates: Special Chassis Rigidly Tuned suspension at a then cost of $690. Also came with upgraded 18" wheels. Any idea what this means? Is this the M030 option worded in a different way? I know there was also a ROW M030 option also which may be different also. I'm asking because I'd like to replace some old worn out parts and want to make sure I get the OEM parts including shocks, strut mounts and rubber bump stops (which shows differences if one has the M030). I have option 030 on my 1999 C2, and also have the 014 package option. Stuttcars has a good breakdown of the 996 options. 030 seems to indicate a lower suspension? https://www.stuttcars.com/technical/...des/996-98-01/

I�m guessing Special Chassis Rigidly Tuned means a lowered suspension. But their is no M030 designation on the option code sticker so I�m confused if it�s in fact M030 or not
