The Coolant Tank from Hell job has hit another snag. I'm about to button everything back up and I noticed that this small tube is broken. What gets replaced - just the tube or is the whole unit one piece? Here is a picture from before the line broke.

Is that a readily available tube at a chain auto parts store or do I have to get it from a Porsche parts provider? Also, it's clamped on one side but not the other. Does it just pull out?

Should be available locally at a chain store, can't tell for sure if you can pull that small piece apart from the larger rubber ones. As long as you get it apart, you're good to go. You might need to put a little glue of some kind when you put it back together.

I bought some 5/32 vacuum hose that fits snuggly over the old pieces, so I'll bridge the gap.
