Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The sunroof seems to get stuck, with one touch it will not quite open or close all the way. It will stop and then reverse like it is hitting something. It appears to me that the leading edge is not being held in place by the two black, horizontal rods that clip into the front of the interior panel. Is there a fix for that? Also, the right, rear corner is much looser than the the left rear corner. You can push it up maybe an inch, the left side does not move. If there something broken? Common fix. One last poll question, how much does the rear of the headliner "flap" when your sunroof is open? Mine flaps more than I would like and wonder if that is common, or if there is something I should fix before it gets worse. Thanks in advance.

POST 2Original post

No clue on the operation but my does stop once and a while on the 1 touch. My headliner does not flap at all.

POST 3Original post

I am experiencing a similiar situation. Actually, last night i was driving in heavy rain and when i got home i had water on by back two seat cushions. Upon further investigation i found that my sunroof seal had lost some of its integrity and was not securely attached. This is most likely the same reason the interior road noise was noticeably louder. But come to find out this was how the water came through. I removed the entire seal last night and ordered another one off Pelican. The part is for a 997 but it will work according to other posts i have read.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks, I am thinking I need to pull down the liner to see if there is a solution for my flapping, and hopefully that will let me see the other issue. getting ready for some broken clips.
