Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Leading evidence: 'Use alcantara' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Use alcantara' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

OK, I'll throw out a number. If I found the right speed yellow 996tt but with the wrong interior, I might be willing to spend $4,000 on these parts to make it look great inside.
Of course, that's assuming I can buy the car right because of the ugly interior.
And that I'm willing to either do all of the work myself or pay someone probably $1,000 to $2,000 to install everything for me.
So, $4,000 plus a weekend of work or another thousand or so to install. I think that's my upper boundary.
Realistically though, the 997 Sport adaptive seats do go for ~$3k on the avg and a typical DCT or recovered steering wheel can go up to $1k. That's $4k right there without any customization. Plus cross stitching and using Alcantara on top of that as well can def add to the cost. Not trying to justify this but if the panels were all setup for a 997 and you had a $80-100k valued 997 Turbo S, this wouldn't be out of the normal realm of upgrades imo.
But yeah $9k interior on a $15k 996...yeah....
Even spending 4k on this, is high. Judging by the drive way I'm sure Jim bob thinks he has something that is super rare and pricey. He needs to fund the above ground pool install and Dale Jr. Upholstered lawn chairs.
