Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Last thread, I swear On a .1 what should I be able to see in the engine's Actual Values? I was able to pull the engine, oil, engine compartment, and cat temps mentioned in my Temp thread. All the others I tried (even including RPM) don't get any readings while the engine is running. Is that right?

POST 2Original post

That's correct. All the other values you saw in your other thread seem correct (except the 50C cat temp I'm not sure about). To see the other values like MAF, cam deviation, fuel trims, the engine needs to be running to see the real-time values. Some of those values are stored and can be displayed also when the engine is not running e.g., cam deviation, fuel trims.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks Ahsai. The engine was running when I tried to pull the values. That's why I'm a bit confused and wondering what I should see on the MkI engine.
