Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

POZ MW00S1 replaced the POZ MN02 after the recall.
Leading evidence: 'Replace poz mn02' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'best' (1 discussions; 0 report identifying it and 1 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Recommend reaching out' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

For $4k+ you get the Oehlins, which according to opinions on here are probably the best for street/track performance but given how the Feal ones ride and how much folks are racing about them, cant beat that price point.

I would recommend reaching out to Barry at 3DM Motorsports,
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I'm looking to completely refresh the suspension on my 2002 C4S, everything is original.
I've kind of decided on the Ohlins R&T coilovers but I'm finding 2 different model numbers with 2 different prices, both for the C4S.
Does anyone know the differences between the two parts?
POZ MN02 for $3190
or
POZ MW00S1 for $4290
I can't figure out if there is any difference between the two
For what it's worth, I just did that exact thing, including arms, links, bars and coilovers. I went with the Feal 441+ and both myself as well as the experienced shop technicians were very positively surprised of how well the car rides. The price point of those rebuildable coilovers is very competitive comparing it with the B16s and Oehlins.
Did you have everything done? I need to replace everything. It all feels tired. 20 yrs old and 63k miles and all original. Just did the brakes this spring.
I also installed Feal 441+ coilovers, and while they felt MUCH better than the old struts on my 996.2, my car felt even better after replacing front lower control (coffin) arms & control arm links too.
In order to get the best handling, you need to replace everything IMHO.
I imagine hlins are even better than my Feals, but I don’t know for certain.
I mean they cost so much more, so they have to be better, right?
for $2k the Feal coilovers come with adjustable bump stops front & rear and radial bearing upper spring seat (pair). For $4k+ you get the Oehlins, which according to opinions on here are probably the best for street/track performance but given how the Feal ones ride and how much folks are racing about them, cant beat that price point. I think you have to be more than a weekend driver/track driver in order to justify the cost.
That being said, I did also do the control arms, links and bars (basically the whole shebang). Car drives insanely better than where it was at before with stock suspension and 77k miles.
buckeye96,
To answer your question, POZ MN02 was the old part number for the 996 C4S/Turbo application. POZ MW00S1 replaced the POZ MN02 after the recall. The new version now comes with complete top mounts therefore the price difference.
We are a direct hlins dealer. Let us know if you need any further help.
The recall and subsequent addition of the top mounts was an issue with the AWD cars only, recall was in Dec '20.

Here are the new Elephant Racing Tops that now come with the R&T set up.
Mine were recalled so they sent replacements NC.....great customer service from Ohlins!!
I think it was just dust residue a little wd40 and a wipe down made them look new again and they have zero performance issues I’ve driven it up to 147 more stable then with my older system but they weren’t designed for that kind of speed the Ohlins definitely are
