Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

How old is the fuel? Was it treated at storage time? How full is the gas tank?

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I believe the fuel is about 9 months old. Less than 1/4 tank. I did add about a gallon since a year ago. there is no Other additives in the fuel before storage I did start the car in Christmas time and it runs ok only but not great

POST 4Original post

Do you need to remove the old fuel for any reason other than you think it could be bad? If not, just add some fresh fuel and run it. See thread here: https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...d-gas-out.html

POST 5Original post

Drop a bottle of Techron fuel treatment in the fuel tank, then fill it up with premium gas. 9 months is not that long. Drive it more often.

POST 6Original post

(Edit: I didn't see Mike Murphy posted this exact thread, sorry Mike.) Someone recently revived 3.5 year-old gas with no issues: https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...d-gas-out.html Second the bottle o' Techron.
