Hi everyone! I'm about to purchase my first Porsche. It's a 2003 996 c2. I wanted to check the rev report before I finalize the purchase tomorrow but I don't have time to purchase and wait for it to come in the mail. Is there anyone in the South Orange County area that has the durametric diagnostic tool that can help me tomorrow? It would be around 12:00 pst. I would be willing to pay you for your time. If you're willing to pay why not hire a shop? I'd imagine the Orange Counties on both sides of the country are near to some very qualified Porsche independent mechanics more than qualified to give you a PPI. Then you'll get much more than an over-rev report. They could actually look at your bores and tell you if they're scored or not.
