This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
One of these days I'll swap mine over to the newer version, but it's hard to replace a perfectly functional part with another given the costs involved (parts plus paint work).

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
26 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.
0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

This has got to be one of the cleanest dual duty 996's we've seen in a while, and we are pretty pumped that the owner incorporated our SM-10 wheels into his build. Let us know what you think!

Our customer, Atle, sent us a couple more shots of his 996 Carrera on SM-10 wheels in action. We love nothing more than to see our wheels on track where they belong.

Those wheels are beautiful. Any chance that your ARC-8R or EC-7R wheel will be available for Porsche fitment in the future? Specifically 996 C2
Just out of curiosity... That looks like another 996.2 with Aerokit I side skirts. Was it like that from the factory? My '02 has that setup, and I've seen a few others. I heard anecdotally that some '02s got them until stock ran out and the Aerokit II parts became more readily available. They function fine and look OK, but don't exactly flow with the more angular lines on the .2 front and rear bumpers. One of these days I'll swap mine over to the newer version, but it's hard to replace a perfectly functional part with another given the costs involved (parts plus paint work).
Thanks for the kind words all! The owner did a fantastic job with the car.
That's a good question for the owner, I am not positive to honest.
Thank you for the interest, and positive feedback. We are very excited about the new forged line.
We do not have a concrete release date for the forged Porsche wheels, but we are working hard to launch a pre-sale in Q4 of this year. We will officially update the community once we have more clarity from the production and engineering team. Design is likely going to be the EC-7R, as it looks "at home" on many different Porsche chassis, and would ultimately give Porsche enthusiasts two different designs and constructions to choose from (SM-10 flow formed and EC-7R forged).
Please let me know if you have further questions. We look forward to updating the community as progress is made.

Thanks for checking in! I do not have a concrete date to work off of just yet, but I will spread the word here on RL as soon as we have more info.
We are long overdue on releasing 19" SM-10's for our GT4 and 991 911 friends, so that has been priority number one.

Ryan,
Hate to be that guy, but what front lip is that 996 running? Ive been looking for something simple for my 996.2 C2.
Also, eagerly awaiting the forged line to take the track stress off my BBS LMs.
19" SM-10s are going into production very soon, and the specs for 996/997 WB 911's are listed below. In case others here are wondering, I've also listed the NB wheel specs. Like the current 18" SM-10 wheels, the 19" SM-10s will offer massive brake clearance along with a deep concave spoke design for the rear wheels.
Front Wheel Options - Narrowbody & Widebody
19x8.5" ET47
19x9" ET50
Rear Wheel Options - Widebody
19x11" ET36
19x12" ET46
Rear Wheel Options - Narrowbody
19x11" ET60
19x12" ET65
A community Group Buy will go live for the release of these wheels, offering a meaningful discount as well as complimentary items like Michelin PS4S summer tires, Nitto NT01 r-comps, TPMS sensors for applicable chassis, etc.

Thanks a bunch! There aren't too many lip options for the standard Carrera and that one looks exactly what I was searching for!
I'll be picking up a set for my 996 soon. Sucks track season is pretty much dead here in AZ, so I'll just have to try the wheels out on a canyon run or three
Happy to help. Yea, at this point the AZ heat would be pretty taxing on both man and machine, but in the interim "spirited" canyon drives sound like a great way to get out an enjoy your 911.
Let us know if we can assist further.
