after a drive, I generally spend a fair amount of time cleaning stuff so easier for lazy me to just not drive in the wet mostly.

Don't worry about climate change......if Trump becomes president, we will tell God to create a new planet for us, and have the Chinese and Mexicans pay for it.......BTW, he will also instruct God to keep Muslims, Mexicans and Chinese in this planet.......while the rest of us go to the new paradise......Oh, wait......I am Mexican....

Some of us Northerners sit for approximately 3 months during the "dark times"(winter) every year...and yeah it stinks...

ASTRO: Love the name BTW. I have a C4S and don't drive it in the winter for many reasons some of which are shared below:
#1 I don't like washing as car in the winter because I hate getting cold!
#2 Too many idiot drivers around here who can't drive on dry warm roads much less snowy and icy. My guess is the bad road conditions interfere with their texting/facebooking/driving co-ordination.
#3 I have two other cars that are better suited to winter conditions.
#4 If some buffoon slides into to my baby it's going to be totaled or spend a lot of time in the body shop so I'll live without it a few months in the winter.

Yeah, I have a truck more suited to wet driving. Worried about some other doof hitting me. after a drive, I generally spend a fair amount of time cleaning stuff so easier for lazy me to just not drive in the wet mostly. However, I did drive in the rain coming back from Houston a few months ago, so it's not really coddled, just would like to get out and sport around a bit, and can't.
I feel for y'all up in the Great White North areas. 3-4 months laid up with no Porsche driving would be tough.

My wife and I drove to Whistler on New Years Day, -6C and clear outside, with the top down.
These cars are great in snow and rain with the right tires.

BTW, I don't miss the upper midwest. born in Oshkosh WI, and I"ve been back a few times. No thanks.
