This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I saw a 996.1 with black interior, but front and back seats plus parts of the tunnel were in Nephrite green. Is this a later modification or could it be ordered like that from the factory?

POST 3Original post

My '99 996 aero came from the factory with black carpeting, Boxster Red leather dash and seats. The door cards are red leather upper/black carpet lower. With black deviated stitching on the red leather.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Would the option codes sticker reveal if it was original?

POST 5Original post

The "Deviating Carpet Color" option gives the interior very much of a 2-tone look because the carpet intermixes with the door side panels, rear seats, etc. Some examples can be seen in this thread => https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...-interior.html

Thanks for posting this. I've been considering doing a deviated color change on my car. It's a Polar Silver over Natural Brown Targa and I think Metropole Blue carpets would break up the brown a bit and also pick up the hint of blue the Polar Silver has.

Porsche would build the car any way the purchaser wanted for the right price. You would probably only see the code "09991" which means exclusive options are included. You would need the build sheet to see what exactly the exclusive options are.

POST 8Original post

I ordered mine new from the factory with two tone 997 hardback sport seats painted in body color just kidding

I think mine in the picture above is "Natural Blue" (I'm not 100% positive of that name), and the one in the picture below (from this thread => https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...lor-combo.html ) has deviating Metropol Blue carpet

Mine had some weird options checked by the original owner like lowered seats by 10mm($705) and the full carbon interior package at $8625.
