Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

It's not AOS issue as I did check the bellows (both ends were dry) and the connector that goes inside the engine (although the seal was s bit tilted but it looked dry).
Leading evidence: 'Check bellows (both ends were dry) and the connector' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check bellows (both ends were dry) and the connector' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

There were a couple of fresh oil drops so it's unlikely that those fell from higher up - I did check just in case it could be that hose to goes to the upper part to the AOS.

I guess I need to clean the area properly and see where that oil is actually seeping.

Drain oil, remove tensioner, replace washer and re-install.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Just found out that there's small oil leak at the end fo the engine - behind that VarioCam I think. I couldn't take a proper picture of that but found this picture from another topic so this can give the location.

In this picture it's just about behind that supporting bracket. There are two big bolts (vertically) at the end of the VariCam - in my case the leaking one appears to be the lower one - which is that actually?
Another picture from the net -> Not sure if this exactly the same but looks like it could be this one - I'll try to take a better picture at some point but I guess someone knows already what that is?
My variocam seals were leaking when I got my car. I found a 50 cent washer that solved the problem. However, my unit that I replaced was on the other side of the engine. Not sure from the pix what exactly is leaking on yours.
Im guessing u might be talking about the chain tensioner? The variocam is no where near those circles. If it is the variocam the cover is super easy to change. Just unclip the electrical connector, remove 2 m6 bolts, remove cover and replace.
If its the chain tensiioner it seals with a crush washer. Again pretty easy to change. Drain oil, remove tensioner, replace washer and re-install.
Not sure what what block is actually (thought that it could be that VarioCam because it reads on the side
) but it's not that Variocam solenoid because it's on the side. Am I wrong when I assume that the chain tensioner is on the bottom of that block facing downwards. That leaking thing appears to be that what is circled on the second picture even though the engine itself looks a bit different from mine. I guess I need to clean the area properly and see where that oil is actually seeping. It's dirty because of that old AOS issue and there's kind of a limited access to the whole area.
