Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
Buy $3 can of silver spraypaint (high temp if you're paranoid), clean bulb with rubbing alcohol and squirt less paint than one would think needed on the bulb.

Lee, with all the wine you drink maybe you could have used some of the bottles to make some new ones
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I am looking for some silver bulbs for the blinker under the headlight. I had ordered some from AMBulbs, but they did not deliver (although they delivered the 1156's for the Bimmer) and did not respond to phone messages or email. I had VISA reverse the charge....now I am looking for another source.
thanks.

I am not affiliated with them, yada, yada, yada. I have bought bulbs from them before and was satisfied with the product and their service.
Cheers,
does this really change the front light look?? Do you have a picture of it with the blubs??
P.S. Lee, with all the wine you drink maybe you could have used some of the bottles to make some new ones
It definitely changes the look. Did it on the clear corners of the wife's bimmer and on the side markers. I'm going for total monochromatic...it's one more iteration.
Typical before/after pix can be found here

Good point about the wine..another alternative is to drink so much that I can't tell what color the bulbs are...wife ordered a lovely selection of French Ross and we've been working our way through them the past month or so...Check out

I don't know if the 1156's are the same as the PY21W. I got the 1156's for the Bimmer. They were the Stealth bulbs from AMBulbs. The replacement for PY21W seems to be 7507. I'm waiting for those still.
The bulbs arrived today. The 7507 (PY21W) have a different offset for the retention tabs than the 1156's, so they are not the same.
Here is a before/after. The red in the Xe lens is from my shirt.
Another option is a squirt of silver spraypaint. Buy $3 can of silver spraypaint (high temp if you're paranoid), clean bulb with rubbing alcohol and squirt less paint than one would think needed on the bulb. Be sure the electrical contacts dont get covered. Dont worry about cracking of the paint, it will likely last the lifetime of the bulb. Enjoy the instantly gratified eggyolk-free look
After a couple days...The bulbs are working OK and the apparent looseness of fit is not an issue. I am not too happy with the consistency of color from bulb to bulb. (these are the Stealth Bulbs). I ordered the Philips PY21W Silvervision in the hope that they'll be better.
