Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Anyway, I've done work on her (money I saved from not having to replace the engine) and after a new AOS, coolant tank, motor mounts, clutch, trans mount, RMS, L&N IMS, oil filler neck, read deck shocks and some new rubber on the rear, I am driving a car that feels like it just came off the showroom floor.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

16 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

OK boys and girls, I'm busted. My lady (the one who has been stocking me for the last 33 years), caught me out in the garage working on the leather on my 2003 C4S. Some may know that the P-car (which is what we call her) was in the garage for 1.5 years because I thought I blew the motor. It was only a AOS. Solid, tight, responsive, all the things that I feel in love with the first time. The only problem is that I am now addicted to driving again. Any excuse to take the car somewhere and I am there. She gets a complete wash job each week and that's me by hand lovingly treating all the rubber, plastic and leather with special treatment. I even take the stupid dog with me on errands (loves hanging out the window and drives in the front seat like it was made for him. He slobbers a bit but I have an excuse to do some more cleaning. 170K miles and I am like a kid again with the vehicle love of my life. I am thinking about seeking counseling. I've taken her down the Angeles Crest, up the Pacific Coast highway and am going to drive her down to San Diego for a conference. This is a second love affair with the same car. - Fast Frank

If she does her wifely duties than I'd say you're a lucky man.

POST 14Original post

We've recently learned (in your favorite thread no less!) that she has been checking up on me lately so I will refrain from making further commentary along those lines to avoid trouble when I get home
