but I want to do it right this time around this thread was a disaster because of that,
Upload the photos to Picasa or another Web album. This way, you can use photos inline using the [img ] tag, instead of adding them as attachments where they're all at the bottom of the page. Trying to do this on the phone can be a hassle, especially on the iPhone, since (as you found) it will display the photo right-side-up, even if you took it upside-down.
When you use Picasa, you can upload a single image and get a link for whatever size you need (thumbnail through huge-azz) instead of having to resize the image on the phone, and rotate the image once it's uploaded. Piece of cake. There are plenty of image sharing sites, but Picasa remains my favorite for hosting pics semi-permanently...
Different size links to same photo - Picasa is very handy. The URL is picasaweb.google.com
There are several additional sizes, but I didn't figure you needed progressively larger photos of my Corvette's engine.
