Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
This isn't too much help since we are quite a ways apart, but apparently a good buddy of mine says "he knows a place" that can do it for around $1,800-2,000 in the Seattle area and is highly recommended from the auto body shop.
Leading evidence: 'Recommend from the auto body shop' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Recommend from the auto body shop' (1 discussions). Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I don't know if that is a lot or too little for QUALITY work. I will look into it more seriously when funds are available.
I know of a good place to get it north of the Houston area. (I think he’s in the College Station area)
Owner is an LSRPCA member.
I’ve seen his work in person on a 1978 Porsche 928.
It looked like factory paint, except for the color.
Hes done lots of other Porsches.
I can send you his contact info if you’re interested.
Hypothetical but related. I have been looking at aero kits and the pieces have to be painted. Would a color matched wrap be a cheaper alternative and look good?
Priced out a wrap for a buddy's 2008 C4S with Factory Aero about a year ago. They wanted close to $4k but the shop has a damn good reputation around these parts.
You could always "Dipyourcar" which is a plastidip for vehicles.
I was quoted $1200 for the primo level dip that lasts 5 years with proper care.

Call around. Much of it has to do with surface area. I assume you're talking about a 3m vinyl and not a special clear wrap? We had a ford explorer completely wrapped with a custom printed vinyl, I can't remember the exact price but it was no more than $6k. I had my Z4 quoted (convertible, so not a ton of surface area) and it was 800-1200$. You may be surprised.
