Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Can 996 mk2 litronic headlights be installed directly with no mods into a car with halogens? I couldnt find a thread confirming this for mk2 cars.

POST 2Original post

I would recommend adding an HID slim kit instead. Way better look than stock halogens.

Did that. Kept getting a bunch of wing errors. Expensive hid kit too. Known issue. Luck of the draw with respect to errors.

POST 4Original post

Physically they r the same but some wiring pins need to be swaped from what i have read. Also i think the high beams on the lits r acheived by the motors pointing the light up some. U wont be able to have this function without swaping in the reat of the parts. (Suspension sensors, lit modual and harness)
