Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

My recommendation would be you just replace the tube.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Took mufflers off last weekend and sent to Darin at FD motorsports for modification. While apart I started to investigate a oil leak I have been noticing on the right side of the engine. A couple drops of oil would drip onto the exhaust after any extended drive which was annoying to smell and clean up off the garage floor. After much searching I found the breather tube on the right side of the engine had been resting against a plastic clip that rubbed a small 1/8 inch hole in it. There was a oil residue everywhere. The rest of the tube is in great shape and replacing it is a huge job. As the hole is easy to get to, I'm thinking i can patch the hole and insulate the breather where it was rubbing to prevent future problems. As the breather tube is ribbed plastic, not sure what the best sealant would be. Maybe permatex RTV black ?
My take is you'll play heck getting anything to seal that hole up. Whatever you use you'll have to thoroughly clean the tube of all oil residue. Unless you can remove the tube you'll never it get cleaned in situ.
My recommendation would be you just replace the tube.
Another possible solution is to disconnect the tube at one end and install a short length of plastic tubing then take a section of rubber sheet and hose clamp it over the hole in the tube. The clamp will hold the rubber sheet nice and tight against the plastic tubing.
If I'm not mistaken, the hose you're talking about is the hose that connects the AOS to the left side of the top of the engine. That hose will be a big job to replace for sure.
I haven't had a chance to try it yet but sugru looks promising for your application. You can form a band wrapped around the hose to seal the hole, then wrap electrical tape to cover it.
