Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I was worried about this as well, but when I replaced all the fluid, there isnt much left in the ABS module that hasnt been flushed out, so after I finished up, I went to an empty lot and did a couple 35-40mph panic stops to activate the ABS module and get the old fluid out.
Leading evidence: 'Replace fluid, there isnt much left in the abs module' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace fluid, there isnt much left in the abs module' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

I definitely recommend getting a brake bleeder kit that you attach to the master cylinder if youre going to change fluids.

It's time for me to change all rotors and pads on my 4S.

Suggestion
For cars with traction control or Porsche Stability Management (PSM), you need to use the Porsche System Tester 2 (PST2) in order to activate the valves in the hydraulic unit during the bleeding process.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Here's what I did for the fronts, and I ordered EBC Yellow Stuff pads to round it out. I'll post the information for the rears that I did a couple months ago. I'm very pleased with the results.
I got these on a Black Friday deal from Advance Auto Parts. They mounted right up, and the seem to work just fine. With the relatively small role that rear brakes play in the stopping of the car, I figured they'd do the trick.
Right, I think the rear brakes on a 911 actually do quite a bit of stopping because the engine is back there. This is one of the reasons 911s are so capable at stopping, compared to most other cars.
Recently did this as well. I went with pretty much the whole brake kit on pelican parts. Zimmerman rotors, textar pads, super gold fluid and SS brake lines.
turned out great. I definitely recommend getting a brake bleeder kit that you attach to the master cylinder if youre going to change fluids. It makes the job 1000x easier. I found a kit on amazon for <$60 for a Porsche. Worked great.
I used Zimmerman rotors and Stop Tech pads. I do have a set of Ferodo DS2500 pads for C4S I was going to put on the car but am selling the car, so put the pads up for sale, if anyone is interested,

Side question, but the guide on Pelican Parts states: "
For cars with traction control or Porsche Stability Management (PSM), you need to use the Porsche System Tester 2 (PST2) in order to activate the valves in the hydraulic unit during the bleeding process. If your car has a "PSM off" switch on the dashboard, then you will need to go to a shop that has a PST2 so that the brake system can be bled properly."
So for those of us with PSM, I take it you can do all the brake replacements yourself and then when it comes time to bleed just have a shop do it (?).
I think that actually applies to any car with ABS. Unless you activate the ABS via some sort of diagnostic computer, there will be old fluid left in the ABS pump. When I bleed annually for track events, I just do it the simple way, since I am replacing them regularly and frequently. When I have a shop do it, they will activate the ABS pump to bleed all of the fluid.
I was worried about this as well, but when I replaced all the fluid, there isnt much left in the ABS module that hasnt been flushed out, so after I finished up, I went to an empty lot and did a couple 35-40mph panic stops to activate the ABS module and get the old fluid out. Seems to have worked great. No issues for the past 5k+ miles
hope this helps.
