I am looking to replace the OEM shifter in my 996 Turbo with the one in the picture attached, however I cannot seem to find the Porsche part number of that one (assuming it is a genuine Porsche part and not a 3rd party aftermarket piece)?

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi all, I am looking to replace the OEM shifter in my 996 Turbo with the one in the picture attached, however I cannot seem to find the Porsche part number of that one (assuming it is a genuine Porsche part and not a 3rd party aftermarket piece)? Any input is greatly appreciated. I saw it for sale on carnewal.com ( http://carnewal.com/products/986/p96...-Turbo-Shifter ) but they unfortunately don't list the OEM part number in their description. Best wishes, Sebastian

Thank you! Suncoast and Carnewal would now be two sources to buy it, however the price is a little high indeed. Auto Atlanta unfortunately does not have pictures of the different versions and neither Suncoast nor Carnewal have the Porsche part number. I would guess it's 99642498123VRJ from Auto Atlanta (price roughly matches the other two), but couldn't find a picture for that number on Google Images...
