Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

If I buy a 996 that still has factory warranty but decide to put a fabspeed exhaust and a EVOMS intake does this void the warranty?

POST 2Original post

It shouldn't but I would personally walk into meet your service advisor with a box of donuts and ask.... Wait a minute I wouldn't have to do that..... maybe you but not me.... -Eli

POST 3Original post

My dealer installed by Fabspeed exhaust and EVOM.

POST 4Original post

I spoke with my service advisor about this very issue the other day. He said that there is no problem with the warranty, except they won't cover problems that arise due to the after-market exhaust. For example, if your exhaust lacks an appropriate heat shield and your bumper melts away, you're on your own.
