Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

He was so cool...we swapped my unit out which had dead pixels and another unit I bought off eBay that was for an earlier 996 vintage and he sent me a PERFECT unit...so cool and so much cheaper than 750 that the dealers want!!!
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi there! I lurk on occasion, but finally got around to this intro...
...thanks (in advance) for letting me play!
Third P-car is my Heidi - 2002 C4S...loving every minute of it! Gone but not forgotten are my 74 911 (while I was stationed in GERMANY...oh yeah....) and 81 930 turbo (cop who told me, "Son, this aint Germany")...
Snapshot: 102k Miles, 6 Speed Manual, new tires, brakes, IMS/RMS replaced at 77k, supple leather, lumbar drivers, bluetooth, exhaust. Wonderful car.
From what I can gather I am the 3d Porsche Club of America-Owner...though the auto report I saw on eBay when I bought it and when I have had it listed "estimated" 6 owners...I think I am 3d...guy sold it to me as was getting divorced. He was in TX and MN and I had it shipped to me. Bought it sight unseen after PPI that the gent was nice enough to do for me...
I drive her daily 50 highway miles during the week. I have had the privilege of driving this car for over 15k miles and I love love love it.
I have done a lot of maintenance to her since I got her...post notably New Michelin PS2 tires all around at 99750 miles, Brakes all around, incl. rotors, pads, shims, and sensors; system bled and recharged, Spark plugs changed, All fluids changed to include front/rear diff, trans fluid; brakes, coolant, oil, and power steering all bled and recharged using Porsche factory recommended fluids, Polyrib belt replaced, New Oxygen sensors, etc. etc....work done at PCA recommended Aaron's Autowerks in Phoenix Oregon.
Options as decoded include supple black leather with memory and lumbar in drivers seat, Porsche crests in headrests, silver metallic pearl-effect original paint, litronic headlights with washers, sunroof, original 6 disc changer, though I have an aftermarket Parrot Asteroid head unit that gives me bluetooth/handsfree...
Has FVD/Brombacher stage 2 kit (installed by RuF Porsche) with headers, exhaust, intake (stock oem air box with Schnell CAI and Helmholtz resonator plug as I found that OR rain and K&N CAI no likey), tune pushes approx. 350hp.

My favorite Porsches are 60s 911s; 912s; 70-73 911s; 74 911S; 87-88 911s (minus Targas or Cabs); 911/930 Turbo/S from any year, 2009-2015 Cayman/S or same vintage 911 of any variety...
I figure I have over 37k in the car, so i may be on the high side of things, but I get to drive one helluva car that looks like a million bucks.
I try to sell every now and again, but you know...I just can't seem to part with her...what the heck else could I drive for the money!!!!!!???? I sure as hell aint gonna drive a jetta again...
Drop me a line if you get a chance....! Oh, and anyone in the Southern Coastal region of Oregon or Northernmost CA coast ever want to go for a spin or have a cup or pint, shoot me a pm - I love to see multiple Porsches together!
Hey, nice car!
Also, if the pixels ever go out again in the climate control, 914Rubber.com sells an LCD replacement kit for about $60. A simple operation to replace it.

I wish I could figure out how to shrink those pics...sorry guys.
Then I can upload more as I used all my permitted space with just one pic. It's my best shot...
Love these machines...
Hey Phoenix, download a free program called "Photorazr". It will let you easily make reduced sized copies of your pics so you can post the copies here.
I am blown away by the awesome replies to my post...how cool...and to the Pete with the 02... Looks great!!!
I will look into the photo raze...what about for Mac?
Thanks guys...feeling the love here...

Too bad you didn't post sooner! I was following your at on Craigslist for a while (not many silver 02 C4Ss for sale in Brookings!)
I have an almost identical car - mine is an 92 silver with Boxster red interior. I lived in Coos Bay until a few months ago, but recently moved to Michigan.
Glad you decided to keep it!
Love it keep it good luck, I had an 04 4S cab which I sold a few years back for no good reason.
Spend a year literally depressed until I found my 02 4S coupe.
Something addictive about these 996s. Not sure what but I want to drive her every day.
Yes. I personally have no interest in the C2 version, and chose to forego a 996TT as I'd not be able to resist the thrust. The C4S seems...just right. I very much like the 997 C4S, as well.
