Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am new to the forum, I have been searching the forum but am unable to find the problem that I am having. I have a 99, 996 C2 Cab. Problem 1. Drivers door will not open, the problem seems to arrive when i lift the handle when it is locked and then try to unlock it. Usually I have been able to gain access through the passenger door and open the drivers door from the inside. Does not seem to work now. Problem 2. When the coolant temperature gets above 80 degrees the coolant "low" light begins to flash. Thanks for any help, and Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays.

POST 2Original post

Problem 1. Open door, remove door card, id which clip has come off linkage or if all in tack purchase a new handle mechanism. Problem 2. If the fluid level is acually at the correct level, purchace a coolant level sensor and replace it. Its in the bottom of the coolant resi.

POST 3Original post

You need a new door latch mechanism. Okie Dokie...the low coolant light flashes....because? You have low coolant. Did you check your coolant level? Instead of checking the actual level you come on an internet forum and ask why is my low coolant level light flashing? Check it...report back
