Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. This is not a probability of success.

Thanks I couldve had a clean 996.2 C4S 6-speed in Seal Gray for the same money, but coming out of a Meteor Gray 987.2, I wanted to try out having a different color.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hey from Toronto, Canada - You guys have some really amazing cars and a wealth of knowledge. Looking forward to being a part of the group.
I picked up a 6MT 996.1 C2 in Lapis Blue over Savannah Beige with a full factory aero kit about 2 weeks ago.
It is a 2001 with a clean CarFax, 105K kms (~65k mi), and full service records including IMS replacement. Condition is 9.8/10 (a few stone chips, some extremely minor curb rash on one of the wheels). Incredibly, the paint is otherwise immaculate and somehow the interior shows zero signs of wear.
This car was the best-condition 911 in my area for sale in my price range. It was $50K CAD ($36K USD) including tax, tag, and title.
Was it expensive? Hell yeah - but I was willing to pay for the right car, and this one checks all of the boxes. I could have gotten a car that was newer, but all of the other 911 coupes with a 6-speed manual had stories, accidents, or high mileage.
Looks excellent. Factory XAA aerokit is valued in Australia.Genuine Aero parts unobtanium or bank breaking here. To me it almost always make sense and financial sense to buy the best condition car.

9eighty6, congratulations! Your car is absolutely gorgeous. I love everything about it...the aerokit, the color, the wheels, and the sport seats. I think you paid reasonable money for the condition and options on the car. I also have a similar mk1 aerokit car in iris blue. In a few years, the price you paid will be considered a bargain.
