Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello everyone, I'd like to disconnect my battery to see if it stops an ABS/PSM Failure message that has suddenly appeared. I have the Bose system for sound (CDR 23), will I have to input a code to use it afterwards? Thanks, Ralph

POST 2Original post

no code needed on 2004 after battery disconnect. You will have to reset the windows for one touch to work. Put up hold ~10 sec. Put down hold 10 sec. I think you really just need "UP" but I just do both.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for the reply and the additional information about the one touch, who knew? Ralph
