Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

2 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Had to replace my battery so my CDR-220 needs a code to unlock it. I have the code in all of my maintenance documents BUT it's buried somewhere in a 20x30' storage unit along with all of our other furniture until our new home is built. I really don't feel like digging through everything to look for it, are there any other alternatives for me?

POST 2Original post

Ask Loren over at Renntech.org. Or look on your white option sticker under the frunk. Many times prior owners write it there.

Unfortunately not in this case. Believe it or not my car came with a cassette deck originally! Previous owner installed the CD player and the card is in my little binder of receipts and maintenance history. I know where it is, just don't remember where I put the box in the storage unit! Thanks, I'll check those links out. I guess for now I just get to listen to my exhaust during my drives.

Unfortunately, if you don't have the radio's serial number written down you'll have to pull it out to view it. The serial number is on the back of the radio. That link above will help you but only if you know the serial number
