Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.
Discussions that suspect a cause
1
0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suspected cause
Large dried leaves, a broken piece of who knows what, likely the car, and a cigarette butt from at least two owners ago.
Leading evidence: 'car, and a cigarette butt' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'car, and a cigarette butt' (1 discussions; 0 report identifying it and 1 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Clean drain outlet in the wheel well it appears' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

When cleaning the drain outlet in the wheel well it appears that he has the wheel off and the car is only supported on a hydraulic jack.

Yogi thanks for the video on your drain cleanout and "flow test".

When working with a wheel of you should always use a stand of some sort!
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Great video, informative and entertaining. But one comment. When cleaning the drain outlet in the wheel well it appears that he has the wheel off and the car is only supported on a hydraulic jack. This is a really bad idea. When working with a wheel of you should always use a stand of some sort!
Good observation. In just about all situations theres a jack AND stand working in tandem. This one time I believe I relied on just the jack. Bad form.
I have to sit down with a beer this afternoon and catch up on this. I have the cab top too and don't dare to speak of it for fear I might have to deal with some of these issues. Been lucky so far.
Yogi thanks for the video on your drain cleanout and "flow test". I knew i needed to clean mine out because I found water under my passenger rear seat once after a wash. Nothing would prepare me for the junk I found in there. Luckily I didn't need to take the wheels off, it flowed fantastic after cleaning out the trays only. That makes this the most rewarding 20 minute project ever. Check out the solids I found in mine beyond the silty grime:
Yes, this 2"x3" bag was the prime culprit on the passenger side buried in amongst all the sediment. Now tell me how that got down there.

Congrats on getting the top to work, so far all we did to ours was refill the reservoir with CHF 11S fluid. Someday we'll rebuild or have rebuilt the rams which have very slow leaks.
Yeah looking back at my video I noticed it did flinch at one point. It just wouldn't move. Now it all works great. So very happy.
On a similar topic, I'm a member of a few Porsche FB Groups and am seeing quite a few 996 owners getting quotes from stealerships and indy shops in excess of 3K. Insane. I should set up a shop and charge less.
