Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Also, has anyone found a decent way to clean the crevice under the very back of the window?

Removing the hardtop "shelf" for cleaning wasn't that hard, particularly if you have the hardtop up on a hoist, and can get under it while it's supported.

Even cleaning the window down near the crevice is a pain.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have an 01 Cab. I have the hard top for it. It is missing the cover on the front where the locking mechanism is. Anybody have an extra one laying around or know the part #? Does it just snap into the 4 holes in the plastic surround? Also, has anyone found a decent way to clean the crevice under the very back of the window? I've got bugs and stuff stuck under there and can't get a vaccum of any kind to fit in this tight space.
Search this forum for DIYs on cleaning in there. There are some who have disassembled the rear shelf cover to get access.
About the cover(s) check the seatback pockets. I found mine there along with the triangular plastic pin guards that snap over the fabric behind the mounting holes for protection when mounting the top.
One guy posted that he went through an extended process of removing then reinstalling the shelf. Pleased him, but took a long time. Even cleaning the window down near the crevice is a pain. One of the times they really didn't think ahead in the design.
