Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

When the hot water heater broke a few months later, the tenant was so happy to learn that he'd just have to take cold showers for two or three weeks to get it replaced via the warranty company that I bought a new hot water heater for it myself, same day install.

Suggestion
Of course people are going to lease the "newer" cars because it is damn near impossible to lease an older car, not to mention fiscally stupid (like over paying for your f'ing oil changes so you can get free coffee).

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I'll put this in the 997 and 991 forums as well.
How many of you prefer to lease your Porsche and then every 3 or so years jump into something new?
How many look for "that car" and when you find it you buy with the idea of keeping it "forever" or at least a long long time?
This is a magnificently executed thread. Your reputation for posting bizarre questions has been solidified by this one.
I generally buy my 15+ year old cars. I also prefer to breathe oxygen, and most of my sleeping is done at night. My poop is almost always brown (unless wing night).
Seems safe to assume that OP does not fall into the "buy with the idea of keeping it 'forever' or at least a long long time" group...
There was nothing in the lease agreement about returning the steering wheel or the carpet. The carpet does match the package tray. That's the saying right?
Personally, I prefer to involve as many financial institutions and bankers as possible in my financial transactions. It's more fiscally responsible that way.
Works for extended warranty logic as well: Let's see, it costs $X to maintain my car, so by involving a warranty company and a commissioned sales staff along with a bunch of paperwork and forms to fill out whenever I need to have my car serviced, it will be cheaper in the long run.
I got a free home warranty when I bought my condo in San Diego back in 2008. When the hot water heater broke a few months later, the tenant was so happy to learn that he'd just have to take cold showers for two or three weeks to get it replaced via the warranty company that I bought a new hot water heater for it myself, same day install.
Well, according to "the Rock", the financial planner who also owns a Porsche...
"Trust menever buy a depreciating asset. If it drives, flies, floats or f*cks - lease it!"
LOL
JI not to be too rough on you but it's pure idiocy to lease for personal use. You should only consider it as a business expense. Sorry bruh, but that's just business 101.
Indeed. I fear the day when the lease ends and I have to pay excess mileage. I think 182,000 miles on the car. Pretty sure it's 50 cents per mile for the overage.
Hi..I wasn't asking financial advice, I was just curious what the answers would be between the three models and the people who drive them. So far, on the newest cars, the depreciation on sky high prices (including sales tax) seems to favor leasing as an option to consider. Each buyer has their own agenda...for some it is an itch they want to scratch and leasing requires the least commitment. For others it is a passion and they want to know they "own" it.
What's the going lease for a 991? That's the true question. If I was super rich I could see leasing a vehicle that would be worry free and the latest and the greatest. As I sit now I'm not super rich and leasing a car for I can only guess costs $900 a month at minimum seems foolish. I bought and paid cash for a car that "i" could afford and couldn't be happier. So what's important to you, newness, worry free maintenance, owned vehicle?
Let's say $1100 a month for 2 years comes to $26,400 - plus I'm sure they come up with various fees, so I'd imagine the final tab is more like $30k if not higher plus whatever insurance will cost. So youre basically paying depreciation costs when you could have saved the the 30 grand for two years and bought that same car cash.
For $30k you could own outright any of a number of fun cars, not have to give it back after 24 months, be able to modify it, and be able to sell it. You want a Porsche you won't regret, buy 996 turbo and never have to post things like this.
You are a dumb *** who is just looking for attention. Of course people are going to lease the "newer" cars because it is damn near impossible to lease an older car, not to mention fiscally stupid (like over paying for your f'ing oil changes so you can get free coffee). Sheesh.
Please spare us from your "research" in the future. Its a waste of time and bandwidth. Your idiot posts go on for pages because the majority of the replies are people telling you what a douchnozzle you are.
I keep telling myself to quit posting in your threads since I am only encouraging you...but this time I mean it.
Until next time.
sure am.
did I mention that I have an E-book on amazon.
But really, its an ebook on amazon, and like you guys should read it. I don't want to hype myself, but its really good.
you should buy it.

I imagine that would be something like beef jerky with a side of powdered milk. No thanks...
It takes the skill of a published author to work a comma fault into three words of profanity. Impressive!
Oh, unless this is "talk like a pirate week," in which case I believe John just requested a rim job.
Not it.
What's with the silly ** in place of the letters ss? The forum shows photos of enormous **** and crotch shots of women bending over...so why be so coy about the word ***?
