I actually bought two sets of leather pieces that go adjacent to the windshield, I used the ones with the stitching.

I have both a CF cover for the stock ignition cover that I glued on (and am using) plus have the leather one.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

You have to take the steering wheel and other parts to easily get to the screws, which is still not easy.
Got about 1/3 through it today......sorry for the cell phone picture.
All I can say is that it is NICE!!!!
Taking pictures with a real camera, will post when I'm done.
I pretty much finished everything yesterday but did not get to installing the sub-woofer, will do that at a later date. I love the two tone interior.....looks factory, it's understated but really, really nice, just like it should of been on a custom car.
Before, I had already upgraded the dash surround and hazard switch to CF, and the alcantara headliner.
After shots in the garage, need to get some good final pictures of everything:
Here's everything that was upgraded in no particular order, got most of the leather parts from a guy on ebay.de who was parting out a GT3, got some others from a guy in Seattle, and the CF trim pieces are new, ordered them from DCarbon in Germany, well worth every cent, really needed it.
I actually bought two sets of leather pieces that go adjacent to the windshield, I used the ones with the stitching. If anybody wants the other two pieces, I'll sell them for $100 shipped. The one shown in the middle here.
I have both a CF cover for the stock ignition cover that I glued on (and am using) plus have the leather one.
Here is a picture of the leather one installed, I guess I can change as required!
Here are the DCarbon pieces, oh so nice but what a PITA to install. You have to take the steering wheel and other parts to easily get to the screws, which is still not easy. And the passenger side airbag for the other side.
I bought a cashmere console on ebay, took it apart and painted it, came out GREAT!
Diablo's short shifter went in, was super easy to install.
The center console is super nice! Really makes the interior not look so plastic, the way it was meant to be.
I also put a four stalk switch assembly on for the trip computer and wired it in with this wiring harness, must get it re-coded to work.
Absolutely required to remove the horizontal trim:
Here's my tool, please don't make fun of the bend, it's what I was given.....would be hard to do the job without it.
Looks nice! I'm looking to add some black to my gray interior as well.
How did you remove the pieces from the dash on the sides (with the vents and headlight switch)? I'm gonna have to replace mine with black pieces as well!
It's super easy, two screws on the side, and for the passenger side, just pop the vent cover, and there is one more torx screw that goes into the dash, see the pink piece in the picture, it's the receiver for the screw. The headlight is the same way, but you pull the headlight switch out towards you about 1/2", then put a small screw driver in at 6 o'clock and it releases the switch cover that you turn, then the screw it exposed.
Apline: I would say the car drives more like an Acura now. Took off the Pfister exhaust mod and pulled two of the six spark plugs. It feels much more safe now.

Paul, I remember what your car looked like the last time I saw it and it was fantastic...
Always with the very cool mods... the two tone looks good and the CF pieces look killer!
"Come on, be nice. Was my fixer upper in high school. Taught me a lot."
That was a pretty nice High School car (especially for that era) ! I especially like the Cragar SS wheels...
To be fair, it was a rust bucket that taught me a lot about panel repair and body filler. And I was in high school in the late 90s, so she was definitely a "spectacle."
I have graphite grey interior too, but with Black mats, which really pop (car is black). What you've done looks great, but black mats would add to the contrast, IMO.
Completed some more interior upgrades. Sent my steering wheel, center console side pieces, shift **** and sunvisors to carsdream.com in Poland. Found them on ebay.de.
Had them all recovered in Alcantara, it was $532 euros ($595 US) including return shipment of the parts to me. I sent them out via the USPS, it was about $80 to ship them over.....so a little less than $700.
Wow! They are nice!!! The steering wheel was completely covered. It used to be grey....now it's the light black alcantara....same as my headliner. I LOVE the sun visors....that's pretty much the best upgrade.....and the shifter is cool because it has stiching on both the front and back of it vs. the factory one which has stiching only on the back part of it.
A few pictures....they aren't very good, but you get the point.....and I had the steering wheel made a little thicker.....oh so nice!
The leather center console and shift boot looks great. Where did you purchase the console and the alcantara blue stitched shift boot? I am interested in these upgrades as well.
I bought the center console from ebay.de last year.
You can buy the OEM shift **** in Alcantara....I bought one last year, but it only has stiching on one side....they are something like $240 from Suncoast, it's an OEM part. I was going to sell mine, it's like new.
The OEM one is on the left, has blacked out lettering and stiching on one side only. Because your hand is on the forward side of it, I imagine that's why they did it.

Ryan-
Per your request, this is the paint that I used to paint the center radio surround. Got it at a local auto body supply place by recommendation of a guy who does interiors. The stuff is fantastic.
First of all, great interior upgrade, looks great... I have the same grey interior with those same supple leather seats and the only contrast I made to the interior is the painted center console to the same exterior color. I also plan to get the CF hazard surround piece, yours looks great, thanks for sharing...
Quick question, how easy is to pop that passenger side air-bag cover? I have this annoying rattle behind there and if time I put my hand pressed on it, the rattle would stop so I know something is loose back there. Thanks in advance for your help. Cheers,
As I recall, it's easy to pop the cover, I think it's just some screws from underneath. You might have to take a beauty cover off first that covers the area above the passenger feet, then you get access to it.
