Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

14 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

This thing is so fun to drive. Luckily they are such bargains right now, I can have both!

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yes, 2015 4C Launch Edition #183. Very unique driving experience, very different than just about anything else on the road. Sitting in an exposed carbon fiber tub adds to the experience, making it seem like a special place to be. And its pretty quick. I took it out today between boughts of poor weather and had a little fun. Already looking forward to taking her out tomorrow.

POST 7Original post

Interested to hear your impressions after you’ve spent more time with it. I’ve also been thinking about these. Quite a bargain considering it’s a hand-built carbon fiber car from Italy!

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Its just amazing to me to sit in a CF tub while you are driving around just inches off the ground. No power steering....And the select-able drive modes can completely change the feel of the car. The race exhaust sounds awesome and so is the turbo noise just behind your head. Its a very visceral experience. The center of gravity in this car is ~16 inches off the ground. The power train is very smooth and the mid range is a wave of torque. I've had a supercharged Lotus Elise and this car feels similar to that, but different in the way turbos are different than superchargers in their power delivery. Also the steering isn't quite as precise/accurate as the Lotus but its got a lot of feedback and is better than 95% of cars out there. It has a good weight to it especially in the corners. Interior and exterior quality are better than Lotus IMO. Car feels more special to look at and drive. I've only had it a few days but its quick and super fun. To me its a great "third" car. I'm not sure it would be a great second car since it is so driver focused and raw, but if you are single it could work. But it gives you an experience every time you drive it, that's for sure. In fact I'm about to take her out now and have some fun. If anyone has any more questions I'm happy to help!

POST 9Original post

Spent 3 hours driving one about 6 months ago. One of my favorite driving experiences of all time. The sound, power weight and tossability are uncanny. Only car I have driven that surpassed it so far is a McLaren 575.

Absolutely agree...I'm so glad I picked one up. Turns the whole sports car thing up to 11. IMO its also a perfect compliment to a manual 911.

POST 12Original post

I've read they've only sold about 2000 of these in the US, total. Should hold its value pretty well if that's true. Looks great!
