Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am considering installing a black narrow-space-wide racing stripe on the drivers side of the vehicle. Looking for any data on positioning. One thought is the wide strip gets centered on the steering wheel. Will have to see where it ends up at front of trunk (maybe too close to the corner). Tried looking for other vehicles with stripe. Many larger vehicles make no alignment with steering wheel. Any thoughts? (car came with the side decal)

POST 2Original post

I know not exactly what you are looking for but I put offsetting stripe on hood, roof and rear Back view

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

looks good. I like how you terminated it front/back without going overboard. will consider if I go to centerline position. did you do it yourself, detailer, or sign company?

POST 4Original post

alignment with steering wheel sounds good. Go flat black for function there as glare deterrent. Form follows function. similar to above. Keep left edge straight and right side can off set hood edge down to headlamp edge. Carry left edge straight across roof and deck lid? it be cool if you could incorporate CARRERA or something into the stripe on hood similar to the old Turbo graphics. The triangular shape, wide at windshield down to narrower at hood edge would work well, imo. I
