Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi Yo Silver is ready for Sunday's Concours d'Elegance in Denver, CO. Took first place last year as a Novice and hoping to take my experience to another ribbon this year! If you are attending, please stop over and introduce yourself! I know you like pictures. Sorry about the focus on the interior shot. abilityconnectioncolorado.org/colorado-concours/ John '03 Targa

POST 3Original post

Shields on center caps should point toward valve stems ... or is that just an urban legend? Nice detail on the engine compartment, BTW.

POST 4Original post

I love the red and silver interior. Good luck.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Porsche-t, I spray with 409 and hose off with water. Wipe dry and then treat all the hoses, belts, and other black parts with Mothers Back to Black. KoB, yes, the shields do need to point to the valve stems. Wheels will be done Saturday. Those shields move on their own somehow. John

Very nice. I like the arctic silver bumperettes. Mine will be ordered next week. Good luck.

POST 8Original post

Great looking car John. I will try to stop by and see you Sunday. I thought I read somewhere that the point of the wheel center Porsche Crest should point at the valve stem for Concours dElegance judging. This is a picture of a beautiful Porsche at a Concours dElegance in Traverse City last year. Good luck!

Wonder if the car got points deducted for non-OEM turn signal/fogs

POST 10Original post

How was it today. I was all detailed up and ready to go but had a hot water heater leak at one of our rentals at stupid early this AM. The rains kicked in around 12 didn't they?

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I saw your car in the program but could not find you. My car was judged early and the rains started about 12. People started to leave then and after the rains stopped about 40 minutes later, the show was over. Many nice cars there that were not present last year. Less Porsches however and I think there were only two of us with a 996 non turbo. (Turbos were Porsche featured car this year.) John '03 Targa

POST 12Original post

I so wanted to be there arrrgh. It has been raining steady at my house in Aurora since about 12:15. We were going to come over and just look around after I put in the water heater but knew it was all closed down. Next time. How did you do in the judging?

POST 13 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Well, the Concours was rained out at 12:30 on June 8th and I had to wait till today to find the results! 1st Place for judged cars 2001 to Present! Page 3 of link below. http://abilityconnectioncolorado.org...ng-Results.pdf The results do not show the results for class N-4 in the Porsche club section but I will have a 1st place ribbon there as well! John '03 Targa

POST 14Original post

Congrats - that is a beautiful and worthy car!

POST 15Original post

beautiful car and congrats on winning 1st place.

POST 17 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Changed title to indicate results of the show. John '03 Targa

POST 19Original post

You should be proud going home with another 1st place.

POST 21Original post
