Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
Won’t he have to lower it a bit, to fill wheel well?
Leading evidence: 'Fill wheel well' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Fill wheel well' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Take read below, I didn't design it, It is what $10,000.00s of research dollars have paid off for the engineers in Europe they found a system that worked, and didn't require wheel adapters
I recently purchased a 2001 C2 cab and it currently has 20" wheels which not only give it an unforgiving ride, but after some research, seems to be not particularly good for the car.
Can anyone give me some info on what the best wheel size and tire combo is along with the offsets? I prefer the look of minimal space between the well and tire but not too stuffed, can that be achieved without lowering springs/shocks?
Here's a pic of what I have now:

I have 18s on my 2002 C4S. Had 19s, but had some clearance issues. Won’t he have to lower it a bit, to fill wheel well? Got a lot of clearance with the 20s.
So I ordered the OZ Allegerita HLT's in Matte Graphite, although the offset on the front is not the same as a lot of others I've seen here.
Wheels
Fronts: 18x8.5 53mm offset
Rear: 18x11 63mm offset
Tires
Fronts: 235/40ZR18 Continental Extreme Contact Sport
Rears: 295/30ZR18 Continental Extreme Contact Sport
Tire Rack didn't offer the 40mm offset which seems to be the standard.
Can anyone tell me if I'll require spacers or if the fronts are going to rub?
Thanks
I wouldve gotten the graphite wheels had they had GT3 fitment up front, instead I ended up with silver. At some point theyll be powder coated red. Your tire selection is very good, a couple members here gave them fantastic reviews. Cant help with the spacers because I have no idea.
You may have some issues with those front wheels with that offset

I didn't know it, I asked the right people if they would share and they did with a smile, they gave the 996.2 the right overall thread width, that angles of the drive pieces are correct and best full compression on multi angle apex corners
I have a 2003 Carrera Aero C2 Coupe with the following:
Front
Cargraphic #5130901847 PCD 5x130/
18" x 9" ET 47
235/40ZR18 Sumitomo HTR ZIII
Rear
Cargraphic #5130111862 PCD5x130/
18" x 11" ET 62
295/30ZR 18 Sumitomo HTR ZIII
This is how they came to me, tires wear aged out. I could have never afforded a set new from Europe.
They were disassembled and sealed using Cargraphic hardware,
They came from a PRO 964 Turbo car. They fit perfect on the 996.2 with
NO SPACERS
They rear barrels had be rebuilt in 2019 though SST in Connecticut while sourcing the barrels and hardware again from Cargraphic in Germany.(2 months)
Mounted on a 996.2 Carrera Aero with a full Techart Suspension (Coil Springs and Sway Bars) including a Techart front strut brace, (lowered 33mm) The system is designed around the Bilstein B8
To completely sure up the chassis for no flex, a Dassport Roll Bar was selected because of a steel plate being secure directly on top of where the Porsche subframe is, a direct contrast to many designs that really on the shear strength of the seat belt bolt to support car and driver in the event of a rollover. It also incorporated a full rear strut bar for the rearward mounts, right on top of rear strut mounts'
All of this safety engineering is what keeps a 996 well planted while on the busy street or at WOT at a race track.
Thankfully, this combination is widely used on tracks in Europe and is now the winning acclaim in the USA
Juts look at the top of front tire and top of rear tire, no fuss, no muss, they fit as they should and the suspension makes sure they work as they should,
My advise google some information
form the players a
