Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Might be a dumb question, but Ill ask anywaysAre the Camshaft pairs Bank specific? Or maybe a different way to ask, are both intake cams and both exhaust cams the same? Or are they different depending on which bank they belong to? Any help would be appreciated.

POST 2Original post

The parts catalog shows different part numbers for the bank 1 and bank 2 camshafts, which implies they are different.

POST 3Original post

Yes they are different , they have 1-3 for bank 1 and 4-6 for bank 2 , why do you ask?

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Trying to Track down a timing issue.

POST 5Original post

Have you checked cam deviation numbers? Those chain guides wear out, screws up the timing
