Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi,
First post...longtime lurker on the forum. I have a unique opportunity to buy a 2001 screaming yellow 996TT coupe with 13,600 miles from a good friend of mine.
Its a coupe, with sunroof, standard black leather and aluminum interior trim. He purchased the car in 2002 and has a fleet of toy cars. As a result, the car was covered and kept on a tender. Never wet, no accident history, etc. I am a professional detailer and I have personally completed a full paint correction, ceramic coating, full interior detail, undercarriage, etc.
This car is the real deal. My friend recently moved and I am storing the car with both of our intents for me to buy the car.
Ive checked BaT, eBay and other sites. This would be a keeper for me seeing very limited miles annually (1,000 or so miles). Will always be kept perfectly clean up on my lift.
Where would the experts place the value of the car? Few screaming yellow 996TT come up for sale and I didnt know if its considered desirable or undesirable as a color. Will require new tires as its still on the originals along with fluid checks. Oil has been changed annually.
Speed Yellow is certainly uncommon, but I wouldn't consider it to be rare. Given that it's a bog-standard 996 turbo, I'd say somewhere in the $65-70 range is reasonable for a private party transaction (BaT is, and is not the market).
This car will be a decent comp. I don't see the 10k mileage difference to mean much in valuation.

Hi, I apologize, car is speed yellow. Screaming yellow is a mustang color I had previously. Now you see how new I am to the 996 world.
I have been watching BaT to get an idea of valuation. I'll keep everyone posted if a deal is put together. If not, I will pass along the info if others with to pursue the car.
