Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I replaced all the front end parts but they were probably fine.

In the future, I may replace the lower rear control arms because of the ball joint.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

My Ohlins install went well and the ride height ended up exactly where it was supposed to. 8 months since purchase, my car is now ready to drive after I got the new water pump in. I have only taken it on short test drives till now. Anyway, it seems to have more cabin noise since the suspension install which got me thinking back about that fat rubber spring perch/washer on the stock rear struts. Now I know it was there to reduce road noise, not to soften the ride!!! Well Porsches are noisy anyway. In fact it makes no sense to me to have a nice stereo and therefore I've been thinking for some time about a noise cancelling headphone hack where I could get music, phone, and still hear some outside noises. There must be something like this for aircraft
I just ordered a set of Ohlins R&T and looking forward to getting them on the car as well. Did you replace anything else during the install? Curious if you reused the old top mounts (what shape were they in?) and if you went with OEM or adjustable end links.
I had electronic noise cancelling headsets when I flew. The turboprops were loud. Im sure there are much better lighter versions today. Like to say Ive seen something along that line for passengers on airline flights, for music or movies.
My car has 88k. The top mounts looked fine but I replaced them. The fronts are cheap. I replaced all the front end parts but they were probably fine. The old ball joints were easier to move than the new ones but they were not loosey goosey I didn't replace any back end parts because the arms also appeared fine. In the future, I may replace the lower rear control arms because of the ball joint. I set the toe (slightly in) and minimized the neg camber (its probably about -1 degree) I didn't mess with the rear end. In the future I will measure it and maybe play with it.....I have to learn about it.
