Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a 2004 C4S with Graphite Gray interior, it seems like the previous owner spilled something on the passenger seat that has made the leather discolored and very hard and stiff, along with the usual age cracks you get with the older leather. Looking for a good place to take the car with some options. I want to keep the factory color if possible.

POST 2Original post

I would give it a go with Leatherique first. I have used it on several cars with fantastic results. will clean and soften it. if you need to touch up the color, try the darker grey. The lighter grey is too light.

POST 4Original post

The Porsche dealer in Walnut Creek recommends Armand's Auto Upholstery just up the street from them on N. Main. They fixed a loose top cable on my 2000 C4 Cab but haven't done any actual upholstery work for me. See: https://www.yelp.com/biz/armands-aut...y-walnut-creek There's also Brentwood Auto Upholstery in Brentwood (near where I live) that actually has done upholstery work on my MB ML350 and Toyota MR2. Both jobs were done well. They installed a factory replacement cover on the back of the driver's seat in the MR2. Looked like it came from the facotry. And, they replaced a section of the driver's seat in the MB that had small tears in its. Color match and seam work was perfect. See: https://www.yelp.com/biz/brentwood-a...tery-brentwood There's an Enterprise Auto Rental location w/in walking distance of each shop.

Dan Acker in Novato redid the interior of my '80SC. Excellent work, great reputation. 82 Digital Drive [phone removed]
