Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

i moved to LI 2 years ago, but i am still getting nnjr-pca monthly news letter!
i broke 2 parts when taking out the CR,
the first is the black plastic part which hangs the CR, 2 pieces were knocked out from the rail.
second is the clip for the metal coolant pipe.
if u have some advise for how to replace them, please let me know. i hope i don't have to remove body panel to gain access.
The service manual is on a UK site. Not sure if that is covered. I've got a fantastic Porsche dealership service department over here in Hawaii that would tell me what's involved. The guy that runs it I feel was a mechanic that moved up so he's knows a lot. Not sure if the NJ guys would be cooperative to tell you how to replace the parts though.
The clip/support for the tube is 996.106.421.51, lists for all of $2.49. The support for the reservoir is 996.106.405.52 (this superseded 996.106.405.51) and lists for $24.54. There is another part number for the C4S that ends in 71. Not sure what year your car is.
So really no big deal, just have to get the parts, hopefully they are in stock in the US.
A temporary repair, that could even be permanent would be a large black (UV resistant) wire tie. I'm certain this would do the job, but would have reservations doing it on a P-car, my Jeep, I'd be ok with it.
thanks for the help.
Doug, if possible, can u send me a part diagram for those 2 parts? so at least i have idea how to replacing them, IF it's too much, i can do with duct type for now :-)
Ok, just thought if you were close I could come over and help. I might have a smaller sledge hammer to help with installation.
And or help lower the engine if needed.
