Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

So the ABS lamp & PSM lamps come on together. But most often happens when starting out after pulling out of the driveway. Stop the car & restart clears the lamps and I drove 200+ miles twice repeating the same pattern. Also came on as I entering the drive way after 200 mile trip? Maybe the steep turn in to the drive with a curb lifting one wheel??? Is the mounting of the Wheel Speed sensor subject to stress in a lowered 996? The 4460 code doesn't say much apparently so I need to wait till it stays on?
does it not go out after a couple of min's driving? I could see having a wheel lift like you describe doing this, but I would expect the lights to go off on their own.
This happens to me too. When i was trying to make drifting , Suddenly this two lighth started to lights.
and i loose my cars control.I take control again and i stopped my engine and restart. These lights are turn off.I hope this wouldnt be to me again.
Jon,
Once the lights come on they stay on - unless I "reboot". My driveway has a short "curb" which I must approach at an angle - nose is to low to drive straight in or pull out. Have had the lamp come on exiting a parking garage going over the sidewalk to street dip. C4 runs fine other that this.
OK - So I had checked the Brake Light Switch... but with several Rennlisters pointing me in that direction, I went back again. 9 time pressing the peddle after checking the wiring & switch and all was well... then the 10th time and bingo the brake lamp went on and then OFF with the peddle full down. Several more applications and yes this is my Intermittent. so I'll call Sunset and get me a switch... Thanks all. Rennlisters save the $140 trip again...
